Contractor: Old School Construction
Our client came to us for help with a new midtown ADU (accessory dwelling unit) in her backyard. The plans were already drawn, the permit was pulled, and construction was underway, but they hadn’t made any selections yet for colors or materials. We were so excited when the client showed us the retro, aqua-colored fridge she’d bought! And when she mentioned her love of colorful cabinetry and everything Anthropologie, we knew we were in for an interior design project full of vibrant colors and patterns.
We started with a pretty blue lower cabinet color to complement the fridge, balanced with white upper cabinets. Then we found a fun, custom backsplash from Fireclay Tile – one of our favorite sustainable tile companies. The Star & Cross pattern is timeless but never boring. And of course, we had to do a floral wallpaper in the bathroom to bring in the eclectic Anthro-inspired vibe. Add in a few gold accents and we’re good to go!
We also provided a fun new area rug and chair selection for the living room, which aren’t pictured, but help to tie the space together. This small space packs a colorful punch and we are so happy with the end result.
