A Rocklin Bathroom Remodel

When we started working on this Rocklin bathroom remodel and fireplace update, our client was VERY ready for an upgrade. The outdated bathroom had carpeted floors, a built-in tub with tiled steps, and a shiny gold shower enclosure. Even the recessed can lights were yellowed with age. She wanted to create a modern but cozy space to relax in and enjoy the views out her large picture window. We didn’t need to change the overall layout much, but in terms of interior design style it was a complete gut job.

We brought in all new tiles, materials, plumbing fixtures, and lighting to modernize the space. The client’s style tended to lean toward Scandinavian modern, so we embraced it with warm wood tones, textured green tiles, and clean lines. The existing glass block windows remain, but the modern materials surrounding them bring them into the 21st century. Her bedroom fireplace also needed a facelift to coordinate, so we updated the tile surround and the mantel to tie into the bathroom materials.

We love how inviting the space feels, while keeping a streamlined, modern aesthetic. Sitting in that soaking tub and taking in the views, you’d hardly know you’re only in Rocklin, CA – you might as well be away on a retreat in a nature reserve!
