Furniture Selection + Placement

Choosing and arranging furniture can feel daunting, but we’re here to partner with you in bringing your ideal space to life piece by piece. Our approach goes beyond simple suggestions; we delve into the heart of your personal style and spatial requirements to determine the ideal seating, tables, lighting, and storage that will define each room. During our comprehensive furniture selection and placement consultation, we engage deeply with your lifestyle, spatial dimensions, and budget to craft a tailored furniture plan that suits your needs perfectly.

How It Works

Whether you’re contemplating a new leather sofa, a statement chair, or the perfect throw rug, we consider all aspects of your living experience during your 2-hour Kick Start Consultation. This includes how you entertain, relax, and utilize your space daily. If the thought of updating your furniture is overwhelming and you’re unsure where to begin, let’s chat. We are here to guide you through the entire process, from the initial selection to the final placement of each piece, until your dream setup is reality.

Meeting duration: Up to 2 hours

Price: $475

Step 1 – Information phase

At this stage, it’s all about capturing the “look and feel” we’re going for. We’ll gather room measurements, inspiration boards, and start space planning, and then review with you to make sure we’re on the same page about your vision for your space.

Step 2 – Design phase

Next, we’ll refine our layout plans and start selecting furniture pieces. This step takes about 6-10 weeks and it’s the “hands off” part of the process, which means you get to sit back and relax while we do the work! You’ll get an email every Friday to keep you in the loop.

We’ll use Photoshop to illustrate how the furniture arrangement will come together in your space. Once we’ve made our selections, we’ll order samples of the rugs & furniture to make sure they look just as good in real life. Then, we’ll prepare our estimates for the next step.

Step 3 – Presentation

After we have all of the layouts, design boards, furniture samples, and estimates ready to go, we’ll meet at your house for a design presentation meeting. Together, we’ll review every detail of the complete package, including an estimate of all costs related to the project, and you can decide from there how you’d like to move forward. This meeting is meant to be collaborative—we’ll be open to feedback and will follow up with any design revisions or budget prioritization needed.

Step 4 – Implementation

Once we’re aligned and ready to move forward, we’ll send you an invoice for all of the furniture and decor, and process orders. Furniture orders typically take at least 4-6 months to reach our warehouse. Once it’s all ready to go, we’ll set up a date to deliver, install, and style it – just like on HGTV!
