Remodel Design

Ready for a change? A full remodel design via Studio Connolly is the place to start. When it comes to remodeling, we handle everything from crafting detailed floor plans for construction to selecting beautiful materials and fixtures that elevate your space. We also source stylish and sustainable furniture and decor, manage orders, and coordinate deliveries and installations, ensuring a seamless transformation of your home. Plus, we’ll be there for you during construction to answer contractor questions and resolve any potential problems as they arise.

How It Works

Every remodel begins with our signature 2-hour Kick Start Consultation in your home. This initial meeting is your opportunity to guide us through your space and share your vision. We’ll help refine your aesthetic preferences, sketch potential layouts, and explore paint colors and material options. By the end of our consultation, we’ll have a tailored plan and a clear scope of work for your remodeling project. Then, we’ll sign a contract and jump into our 4-step design process.

Price: $475

Step 1 – Information phase

At this stage, it’s all about room measurements, inspiration boards, and space planning. We’ll spend this phase nailing down the “look and feel” we’re going for, making sure we understand your vision.

Step 2 – Design phase

Next, we’ll refine our layout ideas and start selecting materials, from paint to flooring and everything in between. Furniture selection will also happen during this phase. This step takes about 6-10 weeks and it’s the “hands off” part of the process, which means you get to sit back and relax while we do the work! You’ll get an email every Friday to keep you in the loop.

We’ll use Photoshop to illustrate how all of the materials, fixtures, furniture, and decor will come together in your space. Once we’ve made our selections, we’ll order samples of all of the fabrics, rugs, and finishes and prepare our estimates for the next step. We’ll also hand off the floor plans and a specification sheet to the contractor so that they can give us an accurate bid.

Step 3 – Presentation

After we have all of the floor plans, spec sheets, design boards, construction bids, furniture samples, and estimates ready to go, we’ll meet at your house for a design presentation meeting. Together, we’ll review every detail of the complete design package, including an estimate of all costs related to the project, and you can decide from there how you’d like to move forward. This meeting is meant to be collaborative—we’ll be open to feedback and will follow up with any design revisions or budget prioritization needed.

Step 4 – Implementation

Once we’re aligned and ready to move forward, we’ll send you an invoice for any fixtures, furniture, and decor, and hand off the final floor plans and specs to the contractors, who will determine the construction timeline. In our experience, smaller remodels (1-2 rooms) take about 8-12 weeks, while larger remodels often take 4-6 months, and whole-house remodel timelines are usually closer to a year. But don’t worry, you’re not on your own. We’ll be available to meet with contractors at the project site and answer questions whenever you need us.

Furniture orders typically take at least 4-6 months to reach our warehouse. Once it’s all ready to go, we’ll set up a date to deliver, install, and style it – just like on HGTV!
