Design Progress: Darling Dwelling Unit

I can’t contain myself any longer, I HAVE to show you the design progress on one of my favorite projects to date. We’re still waiting on counter stools for the kitchen, and once those come in I can have professional photos taken. But with so many delays in the industry right now, I decided to give into the happy excitement of an ALMOST finished project, and share a little joy with you all.

This client came to me during the framing stage of an Accessory Dwelling Unit project in her midtown backyard. They had already finalized the layout, but hadn’t selected any materials. However, she’d already purchased the cutest retro aqua fridge I’ve ever seen. And when she mentioned she also loves colorful kitchen cabinets and floral wallpapers, I was instantly on board.

So I got to work creating an Anthropologie-esque kitchen and bathroom design – the perfect mix of glam, modern, and eclectic. Take a look below for some crappy iPhone pictures of one of my new favorite spaces!
