An Arden Park Nursery

For this Arden Park nursery project, our clients requested a calming, adventure-inspired space for their baby boy to grow into. We started with a neutral color palette, then layered in some forest green tones in a mountain mural on the back wall, which the clients painted themselves. The darker green tones allow the bright white crib to stand out in a way that feels crisp and modern. The traditional, round rug is stylish, but soft enough for tummy time, and a cozy glider and jute pouf provide a comfortable place to sit for mom and dad.

We added some dark green drapes to contrast with the warm gray wall color. And the gallery wall above the changing table pulls the greens and grays all together for a perfect finishing touch. The woven bear hamper ties in the warmth of the jute pouf across the room, adding the cutest hint of texture in the corner. It’s a calming but fun space that can easily grow and change with their kiddos as the years go by.
