Before & After: Transitional Retreat
You don’t always need a major remodel to turn your space into a peaceful sanctuary. That was exactly the case for our Transitional Retreat bedroom design project.
These clients came to us needing help with their primary bedroom. A room that was supposed to be a place of refuge had become a cause of stress, to the point that they avoided spending time in it when they weren’t sleeping.
So we brought in a few key pieces of furniture, updated the bedding and decor, and added a bold but calming accent wall behind the bed. Take a look at some of the before & after images below!

Warm wood nightstands pop against the blue accent wall, while the new bedding and rug make the space feel more inviting.

New art, accessories, and cabinet knobs go a long way!

We brought in the client’s existing chair from the living room, and added some warm textures to create a cozy reading nook.
Our clients love having a refreshed space where they can unwind after a long day, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result! The mix of midcentury, transitional, and traditional pieces, coupled with a variety of textures and calming colors, turned this room into an entirely new space without a single hammer or nail.
